A lovely route featuring: Bosley flight, Harecastle Tunnel - 2,926 yards long (approx 45 mins navigation time), a staircase lock, lift and swing bridges and even a river section. Still industrialised around Stoke, this soon gives way to pastoral views. Some very good pubs along the way! Very pleasant for a beginner or an experienced boater.
