One of the prettiest ring routes in the country, taking you through Cheshire, Shropshire, West Midlands and Staffordshire. From our base at Macclesfield, you will have to travel a full day - taking in the Bosley flight of 12 locks and the small stop lock at Hall Green before you actually reach the Trent & Mersey Canal to begin your ring navigation. You will need two weeks to complete this ring but this is ample time to unwind and visit some of the lovely towns and villages en-route.
